1. About these terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Chatfarm (“we”, “us”, the “Service”), including any AI assistant hosted on a Chatfarm subdomain (*.chatfarm.co) or on a custom domain pointed at our infrastructure. By using the Service you agree to these Terms.
2. Accounts and assistants
A Chatfarm account lets you create, configure, and deploy AI assistants trained on content you provide. You are responsible for the content, conduct, and configuration of every assistant you create, and for ensuring you have the right to use the data you upload.
3. Use of AI assistants
AI assistants on Chatfarm are powered by third-party language models. Their replies can be wrong, incomplete, or misleading. Do not rely on an assistant for medical, legal, financial, or other decisions without independent verification. You must not use the Service to generate content that is illegal, harmful, deceptive, or that infringes someone else’s rights.
4. Acceptable use
- No abuse, harassment, hate speech, or threats.
- No attempts to bypass security controls, rate limits, or access controls of any assistant.
- No scraping, automated probing, or load testing without prior written consent.
- No use of the Service to build a competing product based on our outputs.
5. Content and ownership
You retain ownership of the data and prompts you submit. You grant Chatfarm a non-exclusive licence to host, process, and transmit that content solely to provide the Service. We do not train foundation models on your private content.
6. Service availability
We work hard to keep the Service available but offer no uptime guarantee on free plans. We may suspend or remove assistants that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe place the Service at risk.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Chatfarm disclaims all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Chatfarm’s aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or USD 100 if you have not paid us anything. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes we will give reasonable notice through the Service or by email. Continued use after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
