1. What we use
Chatfarm uses cookies and similar browser storage so the Service can sign you in, remember preferences, and keep a chat session attached to the same browser. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
2. Categories
- Essential — authentication, security, and load balancing required to run the site and dashboard.
- Preferences — language, light or dark appearance, and dismissed notices such as the composer legal line.
- Chat session — a conversation identifier on hosted assistant pages, and a widget session token plus visitor identifier in the embed so replies can continue in the same thread.
3. Widget storage
The embed script stores a visitor id and a session token in localStorage on the host page or inside the chat iframe. These values are random identifiers. They are not an email address or login unless the assistant owner requires sign-in.
4. Your choices
You can block or delete cookies and site data in your browser. If you do, sign-in, theme preference, and chat resume may stop working until you allow storage again.
5. More information
How we handle personal data is described in the Privacy Policy. The contract for using Chatfarm is in the Terms of Service. Questions: accforgelabs@protonmail.com.
